I realized something last night as I heard myself say it out loud to Ryan... "it keeps getting better every day." The Schmid family is wonderful, and I can't express how happy I am with this decision.
Today I kept all of the boys by myself for the first time which was interesting... I'm just glad that everyone SURVIVED the pool and the ice cream outing. We had some close calls. Haha. But seriously. Everyone had fun and I learned that little miss nice au pair can't always be around. ;) It was good, though. The kids and I seem to be getting the hang of our relationships and I'm really enjoying it.
I've been talking with Nicole and Christoph (parents) a lot lately too and we're getting to know each other and I'm learning about Switzerland. My visa came today and I can't wait to leave in almost two days!! Thank you all for your love and prayers. I'll keep you posted!

okay, just saying, schwizzerdeutsch sounds it should be some ballin gun, or really big hot dog, maybe even a dagger.
ReplyDeletebut anywhom, it sounds like you're having an amazing time. very jealous. oh and I don't know what your television/hulu situation is up there, so let me know if for some very very unfortunate reason you can't watch the office. because I know of probably twenty different places online you can watch it. just letting you know :)
but yeah, have lots of fun in switz. eat lots of milka and kinder for me. mmmm.
ps - don't forget, I may be in deutschland next year for a wedding, and you're totally my date. I told E I might be going there for a wedding, and she said that I had to take her, and I was like, thanks but no thanks, I'm already taking my fbsmfl. :)

If i may, a real quick critique. i def want to hear more about swimming with the dolphins...they hardly show up. and what about the sweet crab dinner? What about friday, i mean, kevin just cancelled jim's credit card while hes on vacation in puerto rico and you dont express anything in your blog. the blog is good but im concerned certain things arent being highlighted to the extent they should be. the boys love english muffins and I quote "they eat them like its going out of style", we want to hear about english muffins, the people must have this information. anyway the blogging is going well.
I cant belive youre about to leave(for real). zurich is going to be amazing and the matterhorn even cooler.
